Sandra Berty

Sandra Berty is an international refugee law and gender-based violence specialist with more than a decade of experience working with UNHCR, UNICEF, IOM, and IRC across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the United States. She has led gender based violence prevention and response in emergency and displacement settings, including the Ukraine and Afghan responses, and previously practiced as an immigration and humanitarian attorney in the U.S. She holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a Research Master’s in Sociology and Demography from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
