Madhawi Ali

Madhawi is a recent First Class Law LLB (Honours) graduate from the University of Edinburgh. Her interest in law is grounded in a fundamental question: Who does the law truly serve? She believes a legal system is best measured by how well it protects marginalised members of society, and seeks to advance legal reform that turns equality from an aspiration into reality. Her particular focus is on economic, social, and cultural rights, and on ensuring that justice is not merely available, but genuinely accessible.
